W artykule przedstawimy prostą metodę dekompozycji rozkładu wielomodalnego na symetryczne rozkłady składowe. W tym sensie jet to metoda ogólniejsza od proponowanych w literaturze, gdyż zakłada się w niej jedynie symetrię rozkładów składowych. (fragment tekstu)

The paper contains a proposal of the method of the decomposition of the set of observations drawn from population multimodally distributed into symmetric component distributions. The method is based on the minimization the absolute values of the observations from the modes of the distributions. In the paper an iterative algorithm to apply the method is presented. Some results of the simulation studies on the algorithm are shown. (original abstract)
