Omówiono dynamikę zadłużenia krajów Afryki Północnej i Bliskiego Wschodu, warunki kredytowania, obsługę zadłużenia i jej strukturę podmiotową, transfer netto kapitałów i jego strukturę, a także sposoby rozwiązywania kryzysu zadłużenia.

The article constitutes an attempt at a quantitative presentation of the scale of indebtedness and the burden posed by its servicing for North-African countries in the years 1980-1988. The authors focused their attention on the presentation of the dynamics and structure of debts and their servicing as well as conditions on which foreign credits were drawn by those countries. In the analysis the authors applied a lumber of indicators of indebtedness and debt servicing. The authors also discussed the problems pertaining to capital transfer. The authors presented some solutions to enable the debt crisis in the region to be solved. (original abstract)
