W artykule autor przedstawił własne refleksje na temat przypuszczalnych skutków oddziaływania czynników zewnętrznych i wewnętrznych na gospodarkę przestrzenną i regionalną Polski.

In the article the author reflects on the conditions and consequences related to space management of the transformations taking place in Poland. In the article two groups of factors which determine the high position of the spatial policy of the state have been distinguished. The first group incorporates the internal factors (market economy, self-government of regions, private ownership), and the other group is constituted by phenomena which stem from the European environment. In the article the author also considers the areas in which the state should participate in the creation of infrastructure. (original abstract)
