Abstrakty
Celem opracowania jest zbadanie siły związków między wybranymi zjawiskami gospodarczymi, które prowadzić mogą do ujawnienia niektórych prawidłowości rozwoju jednostek terytorialnych w warunkach gospodarki rynkowej. Szczególny akcent autor położył na zweryfikowanie tezy wskazującej, iż przestrzenny rozkład zjawisk charakteryzujących procesy rozwoju gospodarczego zależny jest od sieci ośrodków miejskich.
In the paper the author analyzes the relations existing between selected economic symptoms with the aim of revealing some regularities which under the conditions of the market economy occur in the development of territorial units. The author concentrated on the verification of an assumption that the spatial distribution of the occurrences characteristic of the processes of economic development can be related to the existing network of urban centers. In other words, an attempt was made to answer the question whether and to what extent the symptoms of the economic expansion of parishes are due to their location in relation to towns of different sizes. The possibility of determining at least some factors generating these manifestations justifies the analysis of the issue. In the analysis South-East Poland was dealt with and two sets of data were taken into consideration, namely a full set of territorial units of the primary level and parish units with the exclusion of towns. Correlation analysis and regression function were the instruments applied in the analysis. (original abstract)
