Omówiono strukturę kapitału przedsiębiorstw w teorii, sposób podwyższania kapitału własnego i związane z tym ryzyko, a także czynniki wyznaczające relację między kapitałem akcyjnym a zapasowym w jednoosobowych spółkach skarbu państwa.

The first part of the paper deals with theoretical deliberations regarding the proportions between own funds and borrowed funds in an enterprise. These proportions depend on many factors. First of all they are influenced by the financial lever effect and financial risk. In the latter part of the paper the author focuses on interrelations between the share capital level and the capital reserve level in enterprises in transformation. The present solutions generally accept a mechanical division of own funds in the proportion of 1:3. The author points to the necessity of approaching every subject individually and suggests the ways of dealing with the problem.(original abstract)
