Omówiono zmiany w prawie dewizowym wprowadzone ustawami z 1989 roku, a także zagadnienia dotyczące wymienialności złotego i ogólnego zezwolenia dewizowego.
The Polish government's exchange - rate policy has important consequences for national economy. This policy regulates the volume and structure of Polish imports and has a direct impact on the profitability of foreign trade. The principles of exchange - rate policy in Poland are regulated by - the Exchange Rate Act of 28 December 1989. The main aim of this act was to allow a domestic convertability of the zloty. But the zloty is not convertable on international markets. This lack of convertability causes many problems with the speed of international settlements. These problems make Poland less attractive to foreign investors. (original abstract)
