Przedstawiono niektóre problemy polskiego rolnictwa związane z jego dostosowaniem się do wymogów Unii Europejskiej. Autorka skoncentrowała się na efektywnośći poszczególnych czynników wytwórczych: ziemi, pracy i kapitału.

In 1994 Poland became affiliated to the European Union. Subsequently, steps have been taken to gain full membership of the organization. This means a need for adjustment of the Polish economy, including also its agriculture, to the Union's requirements. Poland's membership of the European Union means, almongst others, free transfer of the three following means of production: land, labour and capital. Poland's agriculture is undergoing transformation anyway, and not only as a result of its integration with the European Union. It is necessary through to perceive the country's problems related to development in their full complexity. The country is moving towards integration with European structures and its integration with the European Union generates new conditions for the development of its agriculture.(original abstract)
