Przedstawiono klasyfikację metod prognozowania, w których jedną zmienną objaśniającą jest czas.

Due to the interest taken in economic forecasts, more and more people deal with such problems, and more methods emerge to define the future states of a phenomenon. Taking the example of econometric forecasts which are based on the data analysis of time series one comes up with several dozens of various forecasting methods. Therefore, a problem of classifying these methods appears and that of finding a forecasting model common for groups obtained from the classification. The paper presents the classification of forecasting methods with discrete time (the domain is the set of integers). These methods can be reduced to a difference equation and forecasts obtained by them are based on the scientific law of that very difference equation. (original abstract)
