The process of structural transformations of the economy in Poland is characterized by considerable spatial diversification. The paper is an attempt to evaluate the main trends in the growth of production in individual districts of South-East Poland. Detailed studies concern the dynamics and branch structure of production in the years 1990-1992, properaty transformations, selected financial indices of enterprises, and anticipated directions of industrial development in South-East Poland.(original abstract)
