Abstrakty

Badania stanu techniki prowadzi się na podstawie literatury patentowej. W opracowaniu poddano analizie przyrost stanu techniki w poszczególnych jej działach wyrażony wzrostem udzielonych przez Urząd Patentowy RP patentów w latach 1973-1993 - posługując się zasobami komputerowej bazy polskich patentów POLPAT.

The term "state of technology" in the broad understanding of the issues pertaining to invention relates to everything that has been revealed by means of a publication, public display, lecture etc. So any inventions, utility patterns, ornamental designs and trademarks when declared in the Patent Office are added to the resources of technology. The same thing happens when a piece of machinery is displayed at an exhibition or in the fairs. To avoid problems with advertising the product the so-called rule of preference has been introduced. If someone displays something in the fairs or at exhibitions he obtains a certificate from the organizers that products were displayed for a particular period and thus it is protected from losing the status of novelty. The greatest increase in the scope of technology has been observed for the C section - namely, in the field of chemistry and metallurgy, and B - various industrial processes and transportation. Attention should also be drawn to the G section, third with respect to the number of patents granted, in which all the solutions in the field of physics are grouped. The least decrease has been noted for the D section - the textile industry and papermaking. (original abstract)
