Przedmiotem rozważań jest metafizyczny i epistemologiczny idealizm Edmunda Husserla wynikający z jego dzieła "Logika formalna i transcendentalna".

In "Formal and Transcendental Logic", as in other works by Edmund Husserl, a question emerges concerning the possibility of the reconciliation of the real existence of another man with the principal arguments of pure phenomenology, especially those concerning constitution. Husserl claims that as the ultimate, constituting the world subjectivity, I exist for myself with an apodictic necessity, while the world possesses a hypothetical sense only: everything which exists is made relative by my transcendental subjectivity. Because the Other (alter ego) constitutes me in the same way, there is a certain "overlapping" of our constitutional structures which may be called transcendental intersubjectivity, ultimately realised in me.
