Przebadany przez autorów wpływ zmian struktury przemysłu w Polsce w latach 1983-1992 na jego energochłonność i wydajność pozwolił na wyodrębnienie okresu trendów negatywnych: (1983-1987) szczególnie w zakresie spadku wydajności, (1988-1991) - wzrost energochłonności i okresu trendów pozytywnych - rok 1992 - wzrost wydajności i spadek energochłonności.

The presented paper aims at defining the bearing of changes in the industry branch structure in the years 1983-1992 upon this sector's energy intensity and labour productivity. When investigating respective causal relationships concerning the influence of structural changes on variables under consideration the coefficient S(1/0) proposed by S. Forlicz bas been adopted. The authors estimated all the w(i) and S(1/0) coefficients and put them together in the form of respective tables. They also carried out three diagrams to make easier the perception of changes concerned, as we!! as analysed the coefficients estimated. Energy intensity and labour productivity avlues were estimated in constant 1983 prices.(original abstract)
