Omówiono znaczenie popytu mieszkaniowego, modele jego szacowania (model socjologiczny, demograficzno-dochodowy, model dopasowania zasobu), a także przeprowadzono weryfikację modelu dopasowania zasobu dla warunków polskich.

In every economy it is essential to identify the future demand for apartment buildings. In Poland the technique of determining the demand for housing is still not properly developed. In the last few years more and more people acknowledged that an economic activity should be subjected to the satisfaction of the identified consumer long-term demand. In the article an attempt was made at finding mathematical models enabling a determination of the demand for housing which could be used for the global estimation in a long time span. To achieve this goal the author adapted the Resources Adjustment Model - worked out by a team of investigators working for an OECD agency. This method allows for a more precise identification of housing demand than the methods used so far in Poland.(original abstract)
