Abstrakty
Jednym z dynamicznie rozwijających się instrumentów finansowych są opcje. Autorka omówiła podstawowe parametry charakteryzujące opcje: cena bazowa, data wygaśnięcia, premia, aktualna cena towaru, jej zmienność, czynniki kształtujące premię, rodzaje opcji i ich wartość.
The paper characterizes basic factors influencing the option price. As, in some cases, the direction of influence on the selling option is different from that on the buying option, the dependency has been presented separately for each option type. The relations formed between the base price of an option and the base price of financial instruments on which the option is, make it possible to separate three kinds of options: in-the-money, at-the-money, and out-of-the-money. The factors influencing the premium level include the so-called elasticity measures determining the effect of changes in the price of a definite financial instrument on the option premium. The second part of the paper deals with the determination of the theoretical value of an option, based on the Black-Scholes model. The discussion is preceded with some remarks on the formation of profits from options.(original abstract)
