Przedstawiono sieć osadniczą województwa nowosądeckiego, regionalne i lokalne bieguny rozwoju, spodziewane kierunki zmian w ich strukturze, a także spodziewane zmiany w strukturze rynku pracy województwa.

The paper deals with selected elements in the structure of socio-economic potential of the Province of Nowy Sącz. The structure's spatial distribution is viewed by regional and local centres of economic development. Identification of those centres has been achieved through a reliance on the so-called indicators of overall economic potential computed on the basis of a properly defined statistical model. The expected directions of change in the structure of the centres of socio-economic development have also been outlined. An analysis of anticipated and desirable directions of change in the structure of the regional labour market, especially in the sphere of changes affecting the nominal and real demand for labour and the desirable sector structure of available jobs, has been given considerable attention and dealt with at length.(original abstract)
