Przedmiotem artykułu jest ewolucja struktur organizacyjnych ugrupowań gospodarczych, a w szczególności tzw. struktura grupowa - SBU.

The essence of SBU structures has been presented in the article against a background of the evolution of types of organisation structures. Possible organisational solutions that can be applied in SBU structures in groups of companies characterised by high diversification and great territorial reach of activity have been discussed too.(original abstract)
