Autorka diagnozuje istniejącą w województwie krośnieńskim sieć instytucji zajmujących się restrukturyzacją gospodarczą, ocenia ich rolę i działanie, bariery przeprowadzanych zmian gospodarczych, powiązania między tymi instytucjami i efekty podejmowanych działań.
The paper presents an overall picture of the resultsof the research conducted within the framework of research programme entitled "Regional and Local Conditions of Restructuring of Poland's Economy" at the turn of 1994 in the Krosno Province. The research in question focused on various institutions such as state and local administration bodies, agencies for regional development, local chambers of commerce and other institutions supporting the process of restructuring of the Krosno Province. Attempting to diagnose the network of such institutions existing in the province is aimed at finding an answer to the question of whether the very network serves to stimulate and support the process of development and restructuring or whether, on the contrary, it hampers those processes in the economy of a province which is situated in the most south-eastern tip of the country, a region where the processes of restructuring run slower than in the other regions of the country.
