Autorzy zwrócili uwagę na rolę holdingu w nowoczesnej gospodarce i jego cel także w wymiarze ogólnospołecznym i korzyści jakie może osiągnąć polska gospodarka wprowadzając je w znacznie szerszym niż dotychczas zakresie.
The economic premise to create the institution of the holding is a steady economic growth and an adopted philosophy aiming at life in the most favourable welfare. On this background the holding is to serve for achievement of economic growth by means of increasing to the optimal point growth of specific organizational economic units that make up the holding. In Poland the institution of the holding is still in statu nascendi. This concerns the holding and its functions: organizational, economic and cultural. At the same time it should be remembered to maintain a borderline between the holding in its proper function and monopolistic activities.(original abstract)
