W opracowaniu przedstawiono wyniki badań nad kierunkami zmian w strukturach kompleksów usługowych gmin województwa krakowskiego z uwzględnieniem miasta Kraków. Jako bazę porównawczą przyjęto stan z 1987 r. Podstawowym okresem badań jest rok 1990. W odniesieniu do niektórych zagadnień zebrano informacje z 1991 r. Przedmiotem rozważań są następujące zespoły obsługi: ochrony zdrowia, szkolnictwa, kultury, infrastruktury technicznej, handlu i gastronomii.
The main goal of the analysis is the determination of the direction of changes in services rendered in parishes which have been the consequence of the introduction of the new economic system that is currently being implemented, The empirical analysis was conducted for the Kraków voivodship. The analysis dealt with the years 1990 and 1991, and the year selected for the purpose of comparison was 1987. The following services were considered; trade and catering, health care, schools, culture and infrastructure. As the result of the analysis a number of interesting regularities were found. Among others, the analysis revealed a wide range of changes with respect to the so-called market services, and stagnation or even regression as regards the non-market services. (original abstract)
