Abstrakty

Autor, w oparciu o analizę piśmiennictwa ekonomicznego, objaśnia pojęcie logistyki, mające zastosowanie w wojskowości, a od ponad 30 lat również w życiu gospodarczym. Wskazuje na więzi łączące logistykę i towaroznawstwo. Systemy logistyczne mają decydujące znaczenie w procesach ochrony jakości towarów. Zarówno współczesne towaroznawstwo jak i logistyka włączyły do obszaru swoich zainteresowań również problematykę zagospodarowywania względnie kasacji odpadów produkcyjnych i zużytych towarów.

The development of military logistics and its transfer to a non-military sphere are presented. The ethymological genesis of the word "logistics", the essence of that notion and its significance in science and economy are explained. Six ways of interpreting the notion, used by recognized authorities on non-military logistics, are given. The systems of goods transformation and their links with the logistic systems are briefly discussed. Attention is drawn to the qualitative changes which occur in products during the logistic processes and the resulting links with the science of commodities. From the standpoint of the science of commodities the logistic systems are of vital importance for the processes of quality protection. From the standpoint of logistics the knowledge of the problems pertaining to the science of commodities makes it possible to eliminate the unfavourable changes in quality when transporting goods.
