Omówiono historię oraz zasady działalności Klubu Paryskiego. Autor przedstawia schemat rokowań w sprawie restrukturyzacji długu. Poruszono również zagadnienie restrukturyzacji polskiego zadłużenia.

The long-lasting indebtedness crisis affecting most of the developing countries is still one of the most difficult problems of the contemporary world. Both the creditors-debtors and the international organizations try to find a solution to that problem. The Paris Club which is the organization assembling the most important creditors plays a special role in shaping the indebtedness strategy. However, in spite of numerous undertakings the Club acts only as a catalyst soothing the negative effects of the crisis. As yet, it has not worked out an effective method which beside the restruckturalization of debts would allow for the voluntary reduction of liabilities. (original abstract)
