Abstrakty

The article presents basic network resources covering: European issues, existing educational programmes, and selected applications relating to the European education. Some applications at the secondary-school-education level have been highlighted and the processes of teachers' training and upgrading of qualifications discussed. The article lists the internet addresses of: the Council of Europe, European Union, NATO, Western Europe Union, UNICEF, UNESCO, selected educational projects such as "European Studies", European Schools Project", Science Across Europe", "WEB for Schools", "Internet dla Szkó" [Internet for Schools], and some educational and non-governmental organizations such as Polska Fundacja im. Roberta Schumana [Robert Schuman's Polish Foundation], Fundacja im. Stefana Batorego [Stefan Batory's Foundation], Europejskie Centrum Wspópracy Modziežy [European Center for Youth's Co-operation], AISEC, Amnesty international, British Council, ETF, CEDEFOP.(JW)
