Abstrakty
Omówiono filozofię rozwoju jakości totalnej, różnicę między TQM (kompleksowym zarządzaniem przez jakość) a QM (zarządzaniem jakością), istotę TQM (w tym tzw. 14 wskazówek Deminga), osiem kroków TQM w kierunku ciągłej poprawy jakości oraz koszty jakości w TQM.
TQM is based on team work and the use of the human mind for the improvement of the quality of work. The TQM system also provides individual employees with the means to terminate wastefulness by directing their attention at the lowering of quality costs. Monitoring these costs in the whole process, beginning with their sources, shows elements where improvement is necessary, places in which correct steps have to be taken in order to lessen the level of wastefulness. The balance sheet of quality costs, the comparison of its advantages with the costs makes it possible to estimate the efficiency of the TQM system in use in a given company. (original abstract)
