Omówiono obszary zainteresowań głównych podmiotów europejskiej polityki transportowej: Europejskiej Komisji Gospodarczej ONZ, Europejskiej Konferencji Ministrów Transportu, Unii Europejskiej oraz konferencji transportowych. Przedstawiono także zakres środków promujących rozwój transportu kombinowanego.

Activity of the main European transport policy subjects in many spheres could be definied as globalization. Especially the development of combined transport and environmental friendly modes of transport is recognized as way for achievement the state of sustainable mobility in Europe. This paper presents the main scope of current activity of UN/Economic Commission for Europe, European Conference of Ministers of Transport, European Union and regional conferences of ministers of transport as well. The special attention was given to transport policy on combined transport development. The UN/ECE document under the title "Promotion of combined transport to foster sustainable transport policy in Europe" was presented. (original abstract)
