Abstrakty

Autorka przedstawiła zagadnienia teoretyczne dotyczące tworzenia się i funkcjonowania aglomeracji miejskich różnego typu, zwłaszcza zagadnienia komunikacyjne. Następnie na przykładzie aglomeracji szczecińskiej, zaprezentowała warunki determinujące rozwój i funkcjonowanie systemów transportowych w ujęciu progowym (czynniki fizjograficzne, strukturalne i społeczno-gospodarcze). Na zakończenie omówiła funkcjonowanie transportu zbiorowego w Szczecinie wraz z możliwościami jego usprawnienia.

The paper shows the way of performance and organization of common communication in the Szczecin agglomeration in years 1994-1996 against a background of conditions shown in threshold view. The first part concerns the problems of creation and performance of municipal agglomeration, taking into consideration the communication problems (including the transport congestion) and the use of threshold theory in transport. The main part of the paper shows the conditions determining development in performance the transport systems and includes the physiographical, structural, and socio-economic factors. The last part presents the way of performance of common tramsport in Szczecin and the possibilities of its improvement. (short original abstract)
