One of important elements of H.M. Schleyer's social model is personnel training and education. The social value of education is reflected in his views on education and particularly in the attitude of the state to educational system. The author of the article is critical of Schleyer's liberal views because they lead to "new Middle Ages". Therefore, the author opts for a moderate "Third" way of the economic-social and political system where schooling and education should fulfil the functions improving the personality of an individual and the free society.
