Abstrakty
Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie grup poglądów: rynkowo-liberalnych, egalitarystyczno-redystrybucyjnych i opartych na teorii umowy społecznej, dotyczących przeciwdziałania ubóstwu i na ich tle wysunięcie propozycji dla polityki społecznej państwa wobec problemu ubóstwa w Polsce. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na przeciwdziałanie ubóstwu w duchu teorii umowy społecznej i jej zasady pomocniczości.
The poverty phenomenon became one of the substantial problems of the transformation period in Poland. Changes in economy favour gradual improvement average life conditions in the country. At the same time disproportions in received incomes between socio-economical groups continually deepen. The sphere of poverty is not going to reduce. In presented publication author pointed at the meaning of auxiliary principle (which is a grandwork of social convention theory) in poverty counteraction. This principle is making ethical barriers for tutelage of state, showing a dignity of human person, social justice and a necessity of personal responsibility for one's fate. (original abstract)
