Autor przedstawia pojęcie, przesłanki powstania i rodzaje joint ventures. Omawia organizację i kierowanie joint venture a także korzyści i zagrożenia z tym związane.
Joint venture is a form of international direct investment. The essence of it is that the independent partners from different countries run business in one company on the basis of an agreement. There are different kinds of joint ventures. The most important criteria of the division are following:
proportion of the partners shares,
legal position of the foreign partner,
kind of branch activity,
place of activity,
intended time of lasting,
number of partners.
A joint venture has some advantages and disadvantages which are not the same for the partners. They depend on such factors as size of partners shares, their know-how, experience etc.(original abstract)
