Rola small businessu to przede wszystkim przełamywanie monopolistycznych struktur rynkowych i wzmocnienie przemian strukturalnych. Podstawowe znaczenie dla zrealizowania oczekiwań w stosunku do małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw mają: forma organizacyjno-strukturalna i jakość kadr kierowniczych. W artykule prześledzono zmiany strukturalne w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach w Polsce i wskazano mankamenty w zakresie polityki personalnej i struktury organizacyjnej.

The most important role of small business is breaking the monopolistic market structures and strengthening of structural transformations. Vital importance for realizing of expectations in relation to small and medium enterprises have proper ogranizational structure and managerial staff quality. In the article author traced structural changes in Polish small and medium enterprises and pointed out shortcomings in the field of personnel policy and organizational structure. (A.P.)
