Przedmiotem artykułu jest analiza obrotów handlu międzynarodowego rybami i przetworami rybnymi, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wielkości i struktury geograficznej i towarowej, popytu na produkty rybne oraz perspektyw rozwoju wymiany międzynarodowej tymi produktami.

The article describes main tendencies of the world trade of fish products, concerning quantity, geographical structure and generic structure of the turnover at this market. Changes in the international maritime law (fishing rights) have been recognised as the most essential determinant of the shown tendencies. At the end there are some considerations about development perspectives of the international trade of fishes and the fish products. (original abstract)
