Artykuł zawiera informacje dotyczące serii międzynarodowych norm ISO 9000. Autorzy prezentują trzy warianty modeli systemów jakości: ISO 9001, 9002 i 9003. Przedstawiono również korzyści zewnętrzne i wewnętrzne zwiazane z posiadaniem certyfikatu jakości.

The article includes information concerning series of international ISO 9000 norms. Authors present three variants of quality systems, determinants of changes in company's quality policy and decisions for introducing of quality systems. Additionally, the article describes the advantages connected with achieving the certification and the institutions authorised to issue the certificates. Authors describe the management system environmental friendly within ISO 14000 norms. They present also the clear example of the company, which has applied quality system and has achieved the competitive advantage. (original abstract)
