Abstrakty
W artykule zaprezentowano marketingową interpretację pojęcia usługi hotelarskiej, określono jej specyficzne cechy i wynikające z tego konsekwecje dla zarządzania marketingowego zakładami hotelarskimi.
The paper presents the marketing interpretation of the notion of hotel service and it describes its basic characteristics such as heterogeneity and complexity, transitory character and impossibility of storage, indivisibility of its creation and consumption, customer's presence during service performance, close relation of a service with its performer, high importance of human factor in the process of hotel service performance, impossibility of service ownership acquisition, fluctuating demand for hotel services, problems with hotel service standardisation, complementary and substitutive nature of hotel services. Discussion of the above aspects was a means of presentation of basic consequences of the specific character of hotel services for the process of marketing management of hotels. (original abstract)
