Artykuł poświęcono zagadnieniu dywersyfikacji. Omówiono takie zagadnienia, jak: dywersyfikacja a wzrost firmy, dywersyfikacja a wyniki ekonomiczne, dywersyfikacja a stabilizacja zysków, pułapki i bariery dywersyfikacji.

Nowadays an enterprise must act in a very complicated and changeable environment. The sharpening of global competition and changes in demand structure force enterprises to be more flexible. Diversification of economic activity plays the main role. The practice confirms that the more diversified enterprise in the more flexible it can be. Among the positive effects of the diversification we may specify: acceleration in growth rate of an enterprise, improvement in utilization of resources, stability of profits and financial security. When undertaking the decision of diversifying our economic activities, we should be aware of possible dangers, which are: possibility of losing the specialization, difficulties in managing, decrease in positive effects of big production scale.(original abstract)
