Omówiono oddziaływanie handlu na środowisko, wpływ środków chroniących środowisko na handel, miejsce ochrony środowiska w postanowieniach GATT/WTO i propozycje rozwiązań w tym zakresie.

The author of the paper presents the relationships between international trade and protection of natural environment. With reference to these relationschips, he proposes the alterations in certain GATT/WTO rules to make them consistent with the need of protection of natural resources. (original abstract)
