Zwraca uwagę na ewolucję dyscypliny naukowej pod nazwą ekonomika i organizacja przedsiębiorstwa oraz pojawienie się nowego przedmiotu - podstawy nauki o przedsiębiorstwie. Opis tej ewolucji rozpoczyna od przedstawienia ewolucji przedsiębiorstwa w Polsce.

On the background of development and changes in the market economy and enterprises after the second world war a trial was made of presenting the evolution of the scientific knowledge named "as economics and organization of the enterprise". The passing into market economy and the privatization of the state enterprises created the need of emerging a new discipline named "Fundations of the enterprise science". There was shown the outline of the evolution of the FES as well as the need of its further development. The questions were also asked about the aim of existing such discipline and about its relations with other disciplines and the directions of its further development.(original abstract)
