Abstrakty

Artykuł dotyczy problemu polityki antyinflacyjnej, jej przyczyn i metod przeciwdziałania. W pierwszej części artykułu podjęto próbę rozstrzygnięcia w jakich kwestiach współcześnie przebiega granica sporu o przyczynach wzrostu cen, natomiast druga część dotyczy określenia miejsca i roli systemów bankowych, a szczególnie Banku Centralnego w zwalczaniu inflacji.

The paper tries to answer the question which subject: the banking system headed by the central bank, the Goverment with its prerogatives, or may be another institution is the bestprepared, becouse of itsrights and competiencies, to carry out the efficient financial policy providing for a stable level of prices. The first part deals withreasons for inflation with consideration of the newest theories concerningthe phenomem; the second part deals with controversies beween the Goverment and the banking system concerning priorities specifying the sound monetary policy. The paper is concluded with considerations on the role and maening of the central bank in Poland in implementation of governmental anti-inflation package.(original abstract)
