Abstrakty

Transakcje wymienne, szczególnie tzw. offset, są skutecznym sposobem na podwyższanie konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw w kraju zakupującym produkty "high-tech". Zasady funkcjonowania offsetu i korzyści z jego realizacji mogą być podobne na różnych rynkach. W artykule autorzy posłużyli się przykładem przedsiębiorstw działających na rynku lotniczym.

The authors highlight the usefulness of one kind of contra transaction, the offset transaction, in enhancing the competitiveness of Polish enterprises, as in the example firms operating on the Polish aviation market, where this form of transaction is particularly advantageous. They define what offset means in economic practice, and give examples of offset transactions on the world aviation market as well as in Poland. In their summary they write that Poland, as a beneficiary of offset transactions, gains advantages in the form of modern products and technologies without investing in long-term and costly research. This can also be financed within the framerork of the offset. (original abstract)
