Abstrakty

Omówiono politykę państwa wobec sektora małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw w latach 90-tych i jej efekty. Następnie dokonano charakterystyki determinant rozwojowych drobnej przedsiębiorczości oraz przedstawiono analizę programu rządu wyznaczajacego kierunki działań wobec małych i przedsiębiorstw do 2002 roku.

This paper aims to present a difficult process of transformation that Polish economy has undergone in the 90-ties, is still undergoing and will have to face on its way to the EU. As statistic data confirms, the sector of small and average enterprises plays the key role in the national economy. On the one hand small and average enterprises constitute the main source of economic growth, representing almost a half of our economy potential, on the other hand, they are the main factor limiting unemployment. Therefore, the main purpose of the state policy on small and average enterprises, as in many economies, is to create good conditions to shape and use the development potential of the small and average enterprises sector.(original abstract)
