Artykuł omawia zagadnienia dotyczące koncepcji zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi, przedsięwzięć wspomagających rozwój zarządzania kadrami oraz przeobrażenia i stan funkcji personalnej w organizacjach gospodarczych.

In the paper an attempt was made to diagnose the changes that have been taking place in the personnel function in the enterprises. Some remarks have been made also about changes and activities connected with field of Personnel Management. Generally, we can observe the development of theory and practice of personnel function, but the changes in under study are too slow, and majority of firms is characterised by a low level of human resources management. In order to improve the existing state of affairs, some postulates have been formulated in the paper. (original abstract)
