Omówiono znaczenie Internetu jako jednego z najważniejszych mediów międzynarodowej wymiany informacji. Podkreślono jego siłę jako nowego, atrakcyjnego narzędzia marketingu.
Born in 60'ties, as a scientific and research network, became one of the most important medium for international information exchange. Due to Andersen Consulting Raport "ePoland - Where Do We Stand and Where Do We Go", polish people like and want to use Internet. Not only for fun! 35 procent Polish firms use it now, and 32 procent of the rest, declare to do it in 2000 year! Possiblities are great: -information, - contact, - promotion, - links, - client service, - marketing research, - recruitment, - management, - sale. What will up with the world army of sales, when Internet shops and Internet sales will become the normal consumer behaviour? E-commerce is excellent instrument of sales management, as good in presales as in post sales. Last year we could observe completely new form of commercial activity by Internet:- consulting, - branch discussion forums-groups, - firm's catalogue, - on-line training, - internet media house.(original abstract)
