Omówiono normy i regulacje ekologiczne obowiązujące w krajach Unii Europejskiej. Podkreślono, że poznanie tych zasad warunkuje wzrost konkurencyjności polskich przedsiębiorstw na rynkach europejskich.

Enterprises, also those in the świętokrzyski region, face the necessity to adjust their performance and relations with their environment to the requirements from the European Union, which include also regulations from the Maastricht Treaty. The paper describes present changes in European ecological policy and its rules. The knowledge of these rules is a condition of growth of competitiveness of Polish enterprises on the European market. Lots of enterprises from the Kielce region aim at expansion into the market. It is important that they knew rules and ecological regulations that must be obeyed in order to join integrated Europe.(original abstract)
