The paper presents technics called the description of the managerial position in organisation. The application of this technics is connected with many methodological problems, so the author tries to present and explain the rules, which we should obey in practice. He also presents the possibilities and directions of an application of the description. The paper is based on research done by the author and on earlier works of other authors. (original abstract)
