The Influence of the Market Processes on Creating the Social Character

Abstrakty
Teoria charakteru społecznego stanowi narzędzie badawcze analiz zaproponowanych przez teoretyków nurtu analitycznej psychologii społecznej. Zostały w niej przedstawione różne typy struktur stworzonych w związku z dominującą formą produkcji ekonomicznej i dystrybucji towarów. W artykule przedstawiono sześć orientacji: charakteologiczną; produktywną; receptywną; eksploatatorską; tezauryzatorską; merkantylną. Autorka zaprezentowała także syndrom charakteru marketingowego opierając się na interpretacjach Funka i Fromma.
The main purpose of the article is to explain the influence of the market processes on creating the social character. The Fromm's ideas seen to be up to date, so the problem is analysed on the example of the syndrom of the mercantile character described by above mentioned author. The ideas of: the social character and the concept of the marketing were defined and the influences of social politics ways of communication, especially methods of advertisement on creating the social character were explicited. Also the types of characterological orientations were briefly presented. The man as a social being is the subject of influence of other people. Different persons or organizations try to change our behaviour, attitudes or mentality - they try to change our decisions because of their profits, own satisfaction and because of their purposes which are to achieve. In this article some ways of influence and the methods of oposing them were presented. (original abstract)
