Abstrakty
Celem artykułu jest omówienie systemu zarządzania środowiskiem według normy ISO 14001. System zarządzania środowiskowego i jego struktura jest zależna od specyfiki danego przedsiębiorstwa oraz od jego wpływu na środowisko. Dla przedsiębiorstw małych, o niewielkim oddziaływaniu na środowisko naturalne, wystarczający będzie częściowy system, natomiast dla przedsiębiorstw dużych, mocno zanieczyszczających środowisko, konieczny jest pełny, zintegrowany system. Wdrażanie do przedsiębiorstw systemów zarządzania środowiskowego jest procesem ciągłym i niejednoznacznym, gdyż powinno przyczynić się do przeobrażania ludzkich postaw, sposobu myślenia i zachowania się w stosunku do środowiska naturalnego. Do osiągnięcia celów ekologicznych potrzebna jest przebudowa świadomości pracowników.
Implementation of the environmental management systems into a business is a continuaus and ambiguous process. It should make people transform their attitude, thinking and behavior with reference to the natural environment. The environmental management improves the environmental image of the company making its employees hare better motivation for work and reducing costs of production. It also helps to use available recourses and energy sources properly. To Reach ekological aims, changes of emplayees' awareness are needed. Then, carrying out technological process, they will consider the ecological effects of their work. These changes are needed not to limit oneself to the situations called' the end of thr pipe' and to respond earlier at the beginning of activity harmful for the environment. The Environmental Management system is a management model that considers environmental aspects. It makes possible to balanse and integrate business with environment. It also makes easier to define effects of process occuring in business with reference to the natural environment. A number of rules for this system has been established. One of the most impostant is ISO 14000. (original abstract)
