Treść artykułu dotyczy zagadnień związanych z popularyzacją i wykorzystaniem w sektorze bankowym różnych kategorii standardów wewnętrznych, branżowych (krajowych i międzynarodowych) i globalnych. Autorka określiła obszary standaryzacji w bankowych systemach informacyjnych i scharakteryzowała system doradztwa dla klienta - system Finanz-Check (stosowany w bankach grupy Raiffeisenlandesbank), jako przykład praktycznego wykorzystania nowoczesnych technologii informacyjnych oraz standaryzacji w obszarze operacyjnej działalności banku.
Banks are facing miscellaneous issues in organization and technology as a result of changes in their information systems enforced by bank development and introduction of modern technology. One of noticeable aspects in the standarisation of bank products, procedures and information interchange. The paper covers planning and implementation of different standard categories - internal industry and global in bank environment. In particular standards not only create no contradiction to individual customer focus but even contrary allow very flexible approach to creation of services thanks to standard definitions of parameters. Example of Finanz-Check system is described as standard-based tool for financial advisory. Resulting dramatically change from traditional presentation of product-focused bank offer to analysis of customer needs explained and discussed in details. (original abstract)
