Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań efektywności szkoleń menedżerskich przeprowadzonych w Fundacji i Centrum Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości w Łodzi. Porównano je z danymi z badań przeprowadzonych przez "Rzeczpospolitą" w 1997 roku. Wynika z nich, że jedynie co trzeci menedżer ma ukończone profesjonalne szkolenia menedżerskie.

Under guidance of the School of Management, University of Edinburgh there was carried out a survey on participants of long-term management courses of study and MBA type, which were organised by four training centres operating in Poland within the so-called network of regional management centres of the British Konow-How Fund. The survey of this type was conducted in Poland for the first time. A general goal of the project was to examine effectiveness of such training programmes. The following criteria were taken into account when assessing effectiveness: progress in professional careers, assessment of the course itself with regard to its programme and substantive aspects, as well as possibilities of future professional development of managers.
