Przedstawiono zarys rozwoju controllingu bankowego, jego istotę, system, zadania, budowę i rozwijanie odpowiedniej dla niego infrastruktury, a także kształtowanie decyzji kierownictwa banku zgodnie z zasadą zorientowanego na zysk zarządzania bankiem.

The article preents the essence of bank controlling, its system, the range of tasks and the outline of its development. The author also indicates characteristics features of bank controlling and she underlines the fact that it is not a new system which automatically guarantees the bank success nor does it exempt decision makers from their managerial staff responsibility and awareness of the results achieved. This system secures first of all data for decision making according to the objectives set by the bank on all levels of management. (original abstract)
