Abstrakty

Tematem artykułu są losy zawodowe absolwentów publicznych średnich szkół hotelarsko-turystycznych w Polsce. Wyniki badań pochodzą z lat 1991-1993. Autorka opisała czynniki, które wpłynęły na wybór szkoły oraz możliwości zatrudnienia absolwentów. W tabelach przedstawiła m.in. stanowiska pracy zgodne z wyuczonym zawodem oraz zajmowane ze względu na brak ofert pracy w zawodzie.

The paper presents results of nationwide research concerning the tourist and hotel colleges graduates careers. The author focuses on the following issues: what were the reasons of choosing the career; do the graduates find satisfaction in their job; what are the employment opportunities - description of labour market; what is the first job the graduates take; do they have any operational problems at work; what are the reasons they leave the first job - level of staff fluctuation; description of the whole life career; what is their position at present, are they satisfied with their job and position; what are the perspectives in their career.
