W artykule przedstawiono najważniejsze zalety Internetu, które w istotny sposób mogą wpływać na system informacyjny przedsiębiorstwa. Pokazano, że sieć Internet może być jednym ze źródeł zaspokojenia potrzeb informacyjnych i komunikacyjnych przedsiębiorstwa. Przedstawiono także wybrane sposoby wdrożenia Internetu do przedsiębiorstwa, wskazano ich zalety, wady oraz koszty.

The article presents some advantages of the Internet which have a beneficial impact on the eterprise information system. It has been shown that the Internet network may be one of the sources to fulfil information and communications needs of an enterprise. Selected Internet-implementing methods have been presented together with the benefits, drawbacks and costs of those methods for an enterprise. (J.W.)
