Abstrakty

Komunikacja między rodzicami a dorosłymi dziećmi, jej jakość i charkter zależy w dużej mierze od jakości relacji, jaka powstała między rodzicami i dziećmi wcześniej. Zdaniem autorki komunikacja i relacje interpersonalne wzajemnie wpływają na siebie. W miarę upływu czasu te relacje powinny stawać się coraz bardziej partnerskie.

Communication between persons of various generations tends to be difficult due to the fact that the comminity between the experiences of the sender and the receiver is limited. In systems theories, attention is paid to the existence of two different levels of communication: the one concerning the content and that of relationship. In contacts between generations of people who are close to one another in a family, special role is played by the relationship aspect, which expresses the mutual relations between the interlocutors. In the contact of parents and small children this relation is asymmetric, the parent is a dominant part, which a child learns most frequently from non-verbal signals which the parent sends. In turn, relations of parents with adult children are already of a more symmetrical character, differences in experiences become obliterated, which should influence in a positive way the quality of communication.
